The tiny community of Wolcott serves as the gateway to the communities of Red Sky Ranch and Bellyache Ridge. Established in 1889, this area is located between Edwards and Eagle. It has its own post office and a handful of single-family homes and ranches. Located at the junction of I-70 and Hwy. 131, it is ground zero for some of the best trout fishing in the area. Colorado Angling Company has its headquarters here and provides you with access to the Eagle River that features an abundance of rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout. The scenic beauty of the area is also the backdrop for the private Eagle Springs Golf Club. Opened in 1995, the course layout wanders through the valley floor, winds up the adjacent hills, and crosses and parallels sections of the Eagle River.
