Denver’s Washington Park West Neighborhood, also known as West Wash Park, is nestled between the Baker and Washington Park Neighborhoods. Mainly a residential neighborhood, Washington Park West is a great place to call home.

The Architecture of Wash Park West

Bordered by Alameda, Broadway, Mississippi and Downing, the Washington Park West Neighborhood is a terrific neighborhood for first-time homebuyers. Many of the late 19th-century brick houses and early 20th century homes have been built out and divided into condominium units where many 20- and 30-somethings reside. As you move closer to the park, the homes become larger and more grandiose, and many have undergone renovations over the past 5-10 years.

Washington Park

Being situated just west of Washington Park, this neighborhood enjoys amazing benefits of the area without the price tag. Washington Park has one of the best running/cycling loops in Denver, and during the summer, Washington Park is filled with residents playing volleyball, tennis, basketball, cycling and speed-pushing strollers.

And the Whole Foods at Washington and East Mississippi, is a convenient market for all your fresh food needs.

Commuter Accessibility of the Neighborhood

Residents have easy access to I-25, and the RTD light rail stations at both Louisiana/Pearl and Broadway offer an easy ride downtown.
