In Colorado, the leaves are changing, temperatures are dropping, and neighborhoods are decorated to the nines. There’s a perfect blend of childlike excitement and nostalgia in the air. Trunk or Treat Sensory-Friendly Halloween Event
October 21st, 4 PM – 7 PM

The STAR Institute is hosting a free Halloween event full of candy, costumes, and a Trunk or Treat competition! With the intent to throw a sensory-friendly, all inclusive Halloween space, there is an adult limit: 2 adults per 1 child.
As well as special attention to an emotionally safe environment, they encourage all that need to wear your ear defenders, colored sunglasses, or whatever it is you, or your kiddo, needs.

Trunk or Treat
October 28th, 12 PM – 3 PM

Do your kids love firetrucks and decorations? This Trunk or Treat is the event for your family! With snacks, games, and truck loads of candy – it’s guaranteed to be an afternoon of some good, family fun.
If you’re interested in attending, there’s no registration required! But if you’d like to participate with a decorated trunk, host a game zone, or dress up in character to walk around you can register here.
Halloween Kids Fest at the Downtown Aquarium
October 28th – October 31st
700 Water St., Denver, CO
Although Sharkey is always in costume, when kids show up to the Aquarium in costume, tickets are 1/2 off! Your family will have an array of activities to choose from, between pumpkin painting, monster mural coloring, and more.
No registration is needed, tickets can be purchased at the door!

Trunk or Treat Extravaganza
October 21st, 5 PM – 7:30 PM
2000 S Milwaukee St., Denver, CO
When cotton candy and bounce houses are present, it’s difficult to turn a social event down. This not-so-spooky family event is free for everyone. During this Trunk or Treat, your whole family can enjoy food, trunk-or-treating, costumes, games, and a promised list of surprises.

44th Annual Halloween Parade & Trick or Treat Street
October 28th, 10 AM – 1 PM
700 Longs Peak Ave., Longmont, CO
The best part of this parade? Your family gets to participate! Dress your kids up in their Halloween costumes, march on main street, and make this annual parade a new family tradition! Following the parade, visit Treat or Treat Street which is an accumulation of downtown participating merchants.
