Benefitting the Colorado Pet Pantry, Usaj Realty and UMB bank teamed up to donate hundreds of cans, bags and containers of pet food at a recent fundraising event. Additionally, Kriser’s Natural Pet at 1910 Chestnut contributed dozens of bags of food to the effort.
On a beautiful summer evening, people enjoyed great camaraderie on UMB’s third floor terrace and helped out the pet food bank that temporarily feeds and cares for Colorado pets, enabling families to get finances in order while keeping family pets out of shelters and in their homes. This year, Colorado Pet Pantry is expecting to feed over 16,000 pets.Big thanks to all those who came out!
The Colorado Pet Pantry is partnering with local food banks to leverage clients that are already vetted (reducing administrative work) and participating in human food bank services. Because the Colorado Pet Pantry will supplement human food banks with pet food, these food banks will have more confidence that their food and donor dollars are assisting people in need.
“We were very excited at UMB to participate in the Colorado Pet Pantry event with Usaj Realty,” said UMB LoDo Branch Manager/Vice President, Erika Miller. “We love our fur babies and the cause was easy to support. Thank you also to the LoDo District and LoDoNA members who donated and came out to the event!”
UMB bank is a strong advocate of volunteerism, and allows its employees volunteer days each year to give back to the community.

They were beyond generous with donations and helping support the cause in their store. Thank you to all who participated and attended.
