Urban Market – August 4th

The 10th annual Urban Market is the Denver’s premier open air marketplace, open from 11 am – 7 pm. At the market you will find a cornucopia of local arts and crafts sold direct by the artist, clothing, jewelry, antiques, furniture, holistic services, unique treasures, delicious food, and just about anything else you could want. Come out and have fun in the sun while supporting your local artists, businesses, and community at Denver’s outdoor shopping paradise.

Art in the Square – August 6th & 7th

An outdoor showcase of arts and handcrafted goods along with live music! This free event in Fort Collins features the art of local artists along with family fun!

City Park Jazz – August 7th

Steamboat Wine Festival – August 10th – 14th

Jackalope Art & Craft Fair – August 12th & 13th

A weekend shopping destination featuring over 200 local, curated and hand-selected artisans, crafters, and DIY enthusiasts.  Shoppers can expect to find trendsetting indie goods including original fashion and jewelry design, ceramics and paper goods, innovative home decor and housewares, art and photography, plus much more! Located at Anderson Park in Wheat Ridge, CO.

Arvada Blues & BBQ – August 13th

The Duke Street Kings 19th Annual Blues & BBQ for Better Housing will be held from 11am to 8pm at Citizens Park in Edgewater! Same great music, same great cause, awesome new date and location!

Tapped Brew Fest Denver– August 13th

This brew fest promotes the growing craft beer culture by bringing the beer lover community together through beer, music, games, and good times. There will be 25+ brewerires along with food trucks, a DJ, LED corn hole, giant black light jenga, & more! Located at Dick’s Sporting Good Park in Commerce City from 7 – 11 pm.

South Pearl Street Blues & Brews – August 13th

According to their website, it is “entering its tenth year, Blues & Brews has become a neighborhood tradition and a real shindig. The question remains–is it a music festival with really good beer or a beer festival with really good music?” Advance tickets are $7.50.

8th Annual Cherry Creek North Food & Wine  – August 13th

The Cherry Creek North Food & Wine celebrates the diverse and sophisticated tastes of Cherry Creek North dining complemented with wine, beer, spirits, live music and more! This event will satisfy the wine aficionado and the foodie in all of us. All guests receive a complimentary commemorative wine glass.

Beats on the Creek– August 4th, 9th & 16th

Coohills’ Beats on the Creek is a summer concert series featuring diverse music, giving guests an opportunity to enjoy an urban experience in a unique, outdoor environment, on a bridge over Cherry Creek in Lodo. Bar and Patio open at 3:00 pm; Bridge opens at 6:00 p.m.; Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission to the event is free.

Boulder Craft Beer Festival– August 20th

Don’t miss the 3rd Annual Boulder Craft Beer Festival from 1-5pm. The event brings together the best craft breweries from Boulder County and beyond for a tasting festival, offering attendees samples of Boulder’s best beer.  The festival includes music, lawn games and food for purchase.

Lafayette Peach Festival – August 20th

17th Annual Lafayette Peach Festival is on August 20th from 9:00am-4:00pm. Find it in Old Town Lafayette on Public Road and enjoy delicious Palisade peaches. Enjoy peach pies, peach cobbler and peach smoothies.  Food vendors, crafters, antique dealers along with some of the finest artists from the Front Range and Western States will be showcased.  Children’s activities, live entertainment and music throughout the day.

Dining Al Fresco on Larimer Square – August 20th

August 15th at 5pm Join the award-winning restaurants of Larimer Square as they extend their patios into the streets for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Reservations are available through participating restaurants.

Tequila, Taco & Cerveza Festival– August 21st

The wildly infamous Tequila, Taco, & Cerveza Fest is coming to Denver from 2pm-8pm at the Mile High Station! This is an event geared to showcase diverse Mexican beers & worldwide tequilas plus unique taco recipes from all of your local favorites!

Handmade in Colorado Expo – August 27th 

This 8th Annual Handmade in Colorado Expo is an event showcasing some of Colorado’s best fine art and contemporary craft.  From 10am – 6pm, this event will feature a vast array of independent designers producing original handcrafted goods from a wide array of media including metals, paper, glass, fibers, food, fabricated objects, clay, paint, wax, gems, and more.  All work sold will be created from both emerging and experienced artisans from Colorado. This event has free admission and some great local live music!
