Where are you from originally and what brought you to Denver?

I was born in the Philippines and moved around quite a bit until my dad retired from the Air Force when I was 6 years old. I spent most of my adolescent years on the Treasure Coast of Florida in a small beach town called Port St. Lucie.

After high school, I moved to Gainesville to attend the University of Florida – GO GATORS! Then, after college, I moved to Atlanta for work where I met my husband. We loved city life, but we were looking for more of a work-life balance to include a more active and adventurous lifestyle. Denver was the obvious choice! Here we are almost 10 years later, and now, we’re raising our 2 little boys in the best place imaginable.

What makes you passionate about real estate?

The first home I purchased was in the Park Hill neighborhood when I was 25. That was such a huge feeling of accomplishment for me. My dad wasn’t able to purchase our first family home until I was in high school, and it was such a special moment to have our own home. Hence, purchasing my first home before I had my own family was a big and meaningful experience. And, it was the first big step in creating my own roots in Colorado.

After feeling burnt out in my corporate sales job and having our first baby during the pandemic, I really did some soul searching into what my next adventure should be. How could I use over a decade of corporate sales experience in a more purposeful way that would allow me to prioritize my family while building deeper connections within my community? There was only one answer that checked all the boxes for me – real estate. Using my consulting and solution-oriented expertise, negotiating skills and relationship-building tools help me guide people on the journey to finding a home and creating roots in a community.

What can a home buyer or seller expect when they work with you?

I am and will always be your biggest advocate, operating at all times to make sure everything works out in your favor. We will get you to your goal in the most efficient way possible. Part of my account and project management background enables me to prioritize the steps in the real estate lifecycle. One of the biggest reasons I got into real estate was to intentionally create a purposeful connection with my community – for both myself and my family! So, I bring that intention and purpose into every connection I make.

Complete this sentence. If you really, really knew me, you would know that…?

If I say yes, you absolutely 1000% know I will show up and be at my best. I am a committed and loyal friend/colleague/advocate. With two little boys under 3 years old, I know how to juggle and multitask but am also very intentional with my time and am ALL IN!

Give us a snapshot of an ordinary moment in your life that brings you great joy

Mornings at my house are always hectic with a toddler and a 7-month-old. While trying to get everyone up, dressed, fed, packed for the day, and out the door can get a little stressful. And in the middle of it all, while I’m juggling making bottles and putting on mascara, my toddler has wiggled out of his seat at the breakfast table and is boppin’ a balloon around causing my 7-month-old to laugh hysterically.

That’s when my husband and I stop all the chaos and just join in on the laughter. It is so nice to take a pause and just enjoy each other. It is truly my greatest joy.

Any hobbies or pursuits that you’d like to share, Crystal Treadway?

My new hobby is exploring new hobbies! I am working on making time for myself and finding a way to get a mental break and reset from time to time. Any suggestions? I love being active with yoga and skiing. I love everything about health and wellness as in veggie juicing, spa time, and the latest and greatest skincare. Traveling and wine are in their own category, too. And, the new things on my list are piano, golf, pickleball, and needlepoint. I know, it’s a little ambitious, but I am excited to see what sticks!
