It took root in the early 1960s when buildings began to take on a more modern feeling but around Denver, it didn’t start regularly appearing until the 1990s when homes were being scraped and replaced with new builds. - Tudor Ranch: Tudor homes became popular in Denver in the late 1920s. Typical of this style are a steeply pitched roof, prominent chimneys on the front of the home, detailed brick, and an entryway gable (Denver Urbanism).
- Victorians: Victorians come in all shapes and sizes in the Sloan’s Lake neighborhood. Depending on care given, they can be beautiful gems or diamonds in the rough. By the mid-1890s, the Victorian style’s popularity began to fade in Denver due to it’s ornate and expensive execution (Denver Urbanism).
