Bash to the Future | April 6 | Denver

Dust off your ’90s wardrobe, break out your mix tapes and get ready to dance like you’re a finalist on MTV’s The Grind. We’re throwing back to what many have called the best decade with a party to benefit the Denver Scholarship Foundation. Eat, drink, dance and donate to help send Denver Public Schools students to and through post-secondary education. Net proceeds will fund scholarships and be matched by Colorado Opportunity Scholarship Initiative.

Breckenridge Beer Festival | April 6 | Breckenridge

Denver Architecture Foundation | April Events | Denver

The Denver Architecture Foundation inspires people to explore our dynamic city, experience the importance of design to our quality of life and envision an exceptional future for Denver.

Founded in 1990, the Denver Architecture Foundation continues to champion the deep-rooted connections between architecture, education and community-building through diverse and expanding programs. DAF is a unique organization in the Denver area, fulfilling strong public interest in local architecture and its relevance in shaping Denver’s past, present and future. During April, they are hosting the following events:

Mile High Stadium Tour | April 9 | Denver

Enjoy this half-mile professionally guided walking tour that includes stops at the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame Museum, the Executive Suite and United Club Level. Tour-goers will also have a special opportunity to peek into the Visiting Locker Room and Keg Room, spaces typically not open to the general public. Some superfans might even jump for joy (or bust a move) as we pause by the End Zone. Other highlights include a trip to the Television Truck Production Area and the Press Center. It’s always football season in Broncos Country!

Clyfford Still Museum | April 10 | Denver

In the early 1950s, a group of British architects championed an architectural style they identified as “Brutalism,” and introduced the term to the English-speaking world. Brutalism was often defined by the use of raw concrete construction. By the 1980s, Brutalist architecture was no longer popular, but in recent years there has been renewed interest in Brutalism, which emphasizes the visceral qualities of its construction. This “tamed” Brutalism, as applied to the Clyfford Still Museum, is the topic of this lecture.

Radiant Luxury Apartments | April 17 | Denver

Join DAF for an all-access Hard Hat Tour of the new eighteen-story high-rise luxury development featuring 329 apartments and 3,500 square feet of retail space, expected to open in June. Tour will include an overview of the development and will highlight the following locations: lobby, community living and game room, pool, courtyard, yoga and fitness center, apartments and rooftop lounge.  This building is the tallest building in Arapahoe Square. Adjacent to the light rail, Radiant offers a walkable urban lifestyle in the heart of Downtown Denver.

Estes Park Bigfoot Days | April 12-13 | Estes Park

Live entertainment, 5-mile run, vendors, food trucks, beer garden and music will greet visitors at this debut festival.

Mule Majors | April 13 | Denver

Grab your girls and guys and gear up for a day of all things golf and fun. Sip on 10 different handcrafted Moscow Mules from local restaurants and bars, 15 breweries, wine, and more while playing of mini golf, enjoy a golf simulator, dodgeball archery, and live screening of the Masters.

Fetch Markets | April 13-14 | Denver

Formerly known as the Denver Flea, Fetch Markets are Colorado’s largest and most creative celebrations of small business, shopping, design, local culture, and community.

Running several times throughout the year, Fetch Markets offer guests with a unique shopping experience featuring a curated selection of 150+ vendors, ranging from vintage clothing and local artwork to artisanal food products and home goods, as well as a stellar selection of food vendors, pop-up cocktail bars, craft beer, and live entertainment.

Take a Tour of the 17 Mile House | April 13 | Centennial

Arapahoe County opens up this historical space for an “open house” once a month for a complimentary tour. The 17 Mile House is a “155-year old farm which served as an important resting stop for pioneers traveling on the Cherokee/Smoky Hill wagon trails in the 1860’s,” according to Arapahoe County.

Dragon Egg + Trash Hunt | April 21 | Denver

Join us as Green Spaces, Global Conservation Corps, DRiNk RiNo, and RiNo Art District partner to celebrate Earth Week and Rhino Week (April 21st – 28th) at locations throughout RiNo. Kick off Earth and Rhino Week in the River North District with an Easter Sunday Trash, Treasure and (Dragon) Egg Hunt! Check in begins at 9am at The Rackhouse pub.

Volunteers will enjoy a post-cleanup after party hosted back at The Rackhouse with coffee, beer, food and prize giveaways. Please sign up in advance, space is limited!

Belgian Brew Fest | April 28 | Denver

Belgian Brew Fest started in 2017 as a celebration of Belgian-style beer and Bruz Beers is bringing it back. The pioneer in RFID Taste Tracking and Spigot Labs, enjoy great beer at the first outdoor festival of the season with your favorite friends, family, and Flemish Reds.

Sambroso Craft Beer, Taco & Music Fest | April 28 | Greenwood Village

This Sabroso festival date will feature up to four hours of unlimited craft beer tastings (for those 21+) featuring over 100 craft beers, including some of the best local favorites. Craft tacos from local restaurants and trucks will be available for purchase all day. This event is all ages, children 7 and under free with adult admission. All tickets include craft beer tasting (for those 21+), access to view the music stage and roam the festival grounds!
